Tooth paste color stripe at the bottom does not imply chemical or natural ingredientsYet again the internet is starting ugly rumors.  This time it is about the colored stripes at the end of the toothpaste tubes.  According to posts on internet, different colored stripes represent whether the toothpaste is made all natural or full of chemicals.  Some of you are spending countless hours researching who, what, and where to buy the all natural toothpaste with a green stripe on the end.

FACT

The colored stripes have nothing to do with the ingredients in the toothpaste, instead they are markers put there by the manufacturer and they are known as eye marks.  These eye marks (or colored stripes) are read by sensors so high-speed manufacturing machinery knows where the packaging needs to be folded or cut.

IN SUMMARY

YOU CAN’T ALWAYS BELIEVE WHAT YOU READ ON THE INTERNET.
